ABOUT Jr. Mustangs Cheerleading
The Program
Junior Mustangs Cheer is a place to learn cheerleading and leadership skills, expand friendships, and create memories! The feeder program is designed for 6th-8th graders to instruct, coach and develop Rockwood students and life all athletes.
The Organization
Jr. Mustangs Cheerleading is a community-based, non-profit, volunteer-driven organization and is not affiliated with the Rockwood School District or Marquette High School. Our teams support students attending a Marquette High School feeder elementary and middle schools in cheerleading.
What to Expect
A fun and safe team to learn cheerleading and leadership skills while developing confidence, learning the value of commitment, and supporting their peers and community. Mandatory camps and weekly practices prepare cheerleaders to perform sideline cheers, dances and half-time routines at Jr. Mustangs Football and Basketball games.
Athletes lift weights. Cheerleaders lift people.
